Planned Outage - Arrêt planifié
Starting Monday, March 28th, 2022, at 10 am ET, the Graham cluster will be unavailable to all users as we perform regular maintenance. Running jobs will be terminated. The work will be completed by Tuesday, March 29th, 2022 at 10 am. During this maintenance window we will be upgrading the scratch file system. Please watch http://status.computecanada.ca for updates on the availability of Graham and all other national systems. We are upgrading the scratch file system to provide better overall performance. The upgrade is not expected to impact any files stored on scratch; however, as with any file system maintenance, issues could potentially arise. Therefore, users are encouraged to copy any critical data stored on scratch to another filesystem ahead of this maintenance. As a general reminder: the scratch file system is intended for temporary files; nothing that can’t be recovered or recreated. The scratch file system is not backed up. This outage will impact the cluster, login nodes, visualization nodes (VDI) as well as data transfer nodes (DTN). There will be no impact to the Graham cloud. Start Time : 10 am ET, Monday, March 28, 2022 Anticipated End Time : 10 am ET, Tuesday, March 29, 2022 Users will be notified by email when the cluster is up and running again. For questions, or assistance migrating to other national systems, please email [email protected] Thank you, Graham Team, Compute Canada Federation
