On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 9-10, 2026 Vector's Killarney high performance computing grid will be shut down as U of T/SciNet will be performing data centre-wide maintenance upgrades to the environmental and electrical systems.
During this period users will be unable to login. HPC compute nodes in the cluster will be shut down and queued jobs will not execute. Running jobs will be cancelled.
The Scientific Computing team will take advantage of these maintenance windows to perform upgrades to address security, performance and add enhancements to the environment.
