Possible Outage: Arbutus Cloud - Network Switch Firmware Update
On May 22nd 2024, starting at 06:30AM Pacific time, network switches contributing to the Arbutus Cloud's infrastructure will receive firmware updates. These updates will require restarting the switches, producing brief periods of unavailability for connected systems.
Most Arbutus Cloud infrastructure is configured redundantly at either the control plane or network fabric layers, so these updates are not expected to produce a user-affecting outage of the Cloud APIs or VM instances; however, there may be a period of degraded API performance as the cloud infrastructure re-balances after the updates.
